John J. Fiore, DMD, CAGS
Dr. Fiore is in his 26th year practicing restorative dentistry. In fact, the year 2015 was the 60th anniversary of the dental practice founded by his father, Dr. James Fiore. From its beginnings on Washington Street in Roslindale, the practice was moved to the current location in Dedham, in a modernized and comfortable office space.
Dr. John Fiore is a proud graduate of St. Sebastian’s School and Boston College, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology. In 1989, he was awarded his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Boston University. Dr. Fiore continued to a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at B.U., joining his father in practice in 1990.
Marie Perella-Sullivan
Marie Perella-Sullivan, Dr. Fiore’s office manager, has been with the family owned practice since 1972. She started working part time after school as a clerical assistant and was hired as a full time dental assistant after graduating from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Biology.
Dr. James Fiore mentored all of his employees, and Marie credits her wide spectrum of dental skills such as laboratory technician, dental assisting and front desk management to his patience and tutorial expertise. She recalls being hesitant about conversing with patients when she first started working in the dental field. She thanks both Dr. John Fiore and his father with encouraging her to expand her knowledge and the scope of her duties.
The office is very much like a family. The care and consideration that is extended to every patient stems from the respect and thoughtfulness that the staff have for each other. And truly an appointment at Dr. Fiore’s office is like a visit with old friends!
